We are proud to release yet another tea blend inspired by the resilient patriots who traded their English tea habits for homegrown infusions to fuel the fight for independence.
In honor of our beautiful, free nation’s Semiquincentennial, we couldn’t think of a better name than Liberty!
Handcrafted from Native American herbs grown right here on our farm, this blend honors the very roots of our freedom.
While the Sons and Daughters of Liberty brewed many local plants to defy the Crown—including the Bee Balm found in our Boston Tea Party blend—they also found comfort in the flavors of sage, lemon balm, linden, raspberry leaf, goldenrod, chamomile, elderflower, and Ceanothus americanus (New Jersey Tea).
Our specific Liberty blend features a pairing of Sage, Mandarina Lemon Balm, Elderflower and Linden for a bright, sophisticated profile.
~ Sage & Mandarina Lemon Balm: These herbs are highly antimicrobial and antibacterial. They are widely considered the best botanical allies for oral health, specifically for maintaining healthy gums (we and our customers can attest to this!)
~ Elderflower: elderflower are a rich source of antioxidants. This is due to their high phenol content.
~ Linden: A gentle nervine and relaxant, Linden helps ease cold symptoms and naturally reduces stress.
Beyond its historical roots, this blend is a powerhouse of wellness. It turns out the pioneers were bettering their health while simultaneously protesting!
