Goldenrod is well known for its antioxidant, diuretic, and astringent properties. It is mainly used for upper respiratory catarrh. Goldenrod is also used for common colds and flus. We mainly use it for allergies and swear by it. Goldenrod can also be applied topically as a poultice or salve, as it promotes cell regeneration and healing. This herb grows wild EVERYWHERE in Michigan. For those who can confidently identify it, we encourage you to forage this herb (in a clean area) for its amazing properties. However, you can find it as a tincture at our shop. We also use them dried as floral arrangements.
